Description

One person was injured in an explosion on the grounds of the refinery. A pickup truck struck a hydrogen gas line and was engulfed in flames. The exact location was a metering station of the pipeline, at the fence line of the plant.
The fire was isolated, contained and quickly extinguished.

An employee of of the hydrogen supply company suffered burns to his hands. The chemical plant itself was not affected by the fire.
