Description

A truck transporting various compressed gases, among which hydrogen, oxygen and acetylene, was traveling on a highway. The cargo was very probably consisting of standard 50 l gas bottles at 200 bar.A vehicle ahead suddenly braked. The hydrogen carrier braked and over corrected to avoid a collision, then overturned and came to rest on upside down. The driver called the emergency service and its main office to communicate to local authorities and the company the accident. The company dispatched another truck and a supervisor to assist with clean up. After checking all cylinders involved, it was determined that none of the tube was damaged and had released hydrogen.
